Launch of Kampi ya Samaki Fluoride Free Future Water Project
Hand in Hand Eastern Africa was proud to be part of the official launch of the Kampi ya Samaki Fluoride Free Future Water Project in Baringo County in Aril 2026.. This transformative initiative is currently underway and promises to change lives by providing safe, filtered water to the community.
The project is jointly funded by ChildFund Kenya, the Central Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency, DuPont Water Solutions, Hand in Hand Eastern Africa (HIH EA), the County Government of Baringo, and Davis & Shirtliff. With this strong partnership, the project is set to benefit more than 20,000 people, marking a new beginning for the Kampi ya Samaki community, who will now have access to clean water for both household and commercial use.
Key Features of the Project

- Piped connections reaching 1,500 homesteads, three schools, and a dispensary.
