PROGRAMME TECHNICAL ADVISOR

Job Summary: The Technical Advisor will lead the technical implementation of the 36-month dairy and poultry producer organization pilot across seven Kenyan counties, translating programme design into effective field delivery. The role will build the capability of field teams, county officers and producer organizations to strengthen their institutional maturity, become finance and market ready, and deliver measurable improvements in member incomes and gender outcomes.

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Cooperative Management, Finance, Rural Development or a related field.
Experience Level: Demonstrated experience in cooperative governance, financial management, access to finance, market linkages, agricultural value-chain development, gender mainstreaming and organisational capacity building.
Experience Length: At least 5 years’ experience in producer organisation or cooperative development in East Africa, including 2 years in a technical leadership or advisory role.

COMMUNITY FOCAL RESOURCE PERSON

Job Summary: The Community Focal Resource Person will serve as the organisation’s first point of contact in the community by mobilising community members into new self-help groups, delivering the organisation’s foundational group training, and building local support for the programme through engagement with community leaders and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualification: Certificate or Diploma in Community Development, Social Work, Social Sciences, or a related field is essential.
Experience Level: Ability to deliver community training and facilitate participatory learning sessions. Strong public speaking and communication skills for community engagement and mobilisation. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships. Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare timely activity reports.
Experience Length: At least 1 year of demonstrable community mobilization, volunteering or fieldwork experience is essential.

AUDIT ASSISTANT

Job Summary: The Audit Assistant supports Internal Audit in delivering independent assurance, compliance, and advisory services; covering audit planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up—to strengthen governance, risk management, and internal controls across the organisation.

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field from a recognized and accredited institution is required. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent is essential.
