Hand in Hand Eastern Africa Shines at Nakuru National Agricultural Show 2026
Hand in Hand Eastern Africa proudly emerged as a double award winner at the 2026 Nakuru National Agricultural Show, held from 1st to 5th July at the Nakuru ASK Showground. The organization was recognized with the titles of Best NGO Projects Stand and Best Local Manufacturer (Consumables) Stand, affirming its leadership in enterprise development and climate-smart agriculture.
This year’s theme, “Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth,” brought together innovators in modern farming technologies, value addition, and enterprise development. Against this backdrop, 10 entrepreneurs from Nakuru County and surrounding areas showcased their products, representing Hand in Hand’s Building Inclusive & Resilient Enterprises (BIRE) and Applied Invest (AI) projects.
For these entrepreneurs, participation went far beyond sales. The show provided a vital platform to connect with new markets, buyers, and value chain partners — the very linkages that transform climate-smart production into stable incomes and lasting livelihoods. This is the essence of sustainable agriculture: resilient production paired with enterprise support and market access.
