This project aims at reducing poverty and increasing climate resilience in Kitui County. The project which will run for 3 years is funded by Swiss Re.
The below are the expected outcomes of the project:
?Cohesive Self Help Groups and establishment of self- sustaining group mechanism.
?Increased knowledge and skills to establish new and enhance existing IGA by the members.
?Improved market linkages and increased competitiveness of products and services by the members.
PROJECT TARGETS
The projects aims to mobilize 3210 members who will create 2247 enterprises,30% of them been green micro enterprises.The project will create 2921 jobs and impart 2889 members with value addition and technical skills and access to new markets and value chains on 405 members
